In 2013 Recchi Engineering (team leader and project manager) with Carlo Ratti Associati, NUSSLI, Manens-Tifs and M. Durbano won the contract awarded by leading agricultural machinery manufacturer New Holland for the Dutch pavilion at EXPO Milano 2015. The building, dedicated to the theme of sustainable agriculture, featured moving robotic agricultural machinery in a large field of crops on the roof. Inside, digital display screens and agricultural equipment were used to reproduce a sort of "augmented reality", to help visitors to the pavilion learn more about crop cycles and the principles of sustainable agriculture.
