Built between 1946 and 1948, they were the first to be constructed by Impresa di Costruzioni Ing. Enrico Recchi for the Italian Ministry of Transport and the State Railway Authority. The bridge over the River Orco, with five shallow arch spans in reinforced concrete for double rail track, is 160 metres long. The bridge over the River Stura, a six span steel girder bridge for double track rail, is 120 metres long and the bridge over the River Po has five arches and is 180 metres long.
